Karlovy Vary
The town of Karlovy Vary belongs to one of the most attractive and most beautiful towns in the Czech Republic. It is worth mentioniting that Karlovy Vary belongs to one of the most often visited Czech towns. The town is visited not only for its beauty but also for the soothing curative effect of Karlovy Vary hot springs to various insidious diseases. But Karlovy Vary is not world-famous only for its noted spa, curative springs and beautiful setting. Later on it won fame for its additional speciality and traits typical of Karlovy Vary. One of the traditional speciality is primarily the glass trade mark Moser, which is also known under the name "Glass of kings" and of which many sovereigns all over the world have boasted. At present the glassworks produces a wide range of glass sortiment made both of genuine crystal and various ravishing colours.
Now we could mention the porcelain. In Karlovy Vary not only kitchen porcelain, but also decorative, aesthetically tuned and beautifully decorated, which is also exported into the world, is being produced. The town serves as an oasis of tranquility and therefore one cannot marvel that it has been visited by many famous and gifted people who searched for an inspiration or recreation. The town has been visited by, for instance, well-known composers such as W. A. Mozart, R. Strauss, L. v. Beethoven or statesmen such as Petermagne, Oto I (Greek king), William I (Prussian king), Juan Carlos I (Spanish king) and many others…
